摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of HC emission at starting of an engine without producing a rebound such as causing deterioration of sound and vibration performance by excessive enhancement of a maximal rotational speed at starting. SOLUTION: A fuel injection controller of a multiple cylinder engine comprises a suction throttle valve (2), a manifold (5) branching from the downstream suction passage (3) of the suction throttle valve (2) and distributing the air to each cylinder, and a fuel injection valve (7) installed in the manifold (5) respectively, and performs fuel injection from each fuel injection valve (7). There is provided a part cylinder fuel injection suspending means (11) which suspends fuel injection from the fuel injection value (7) until the pressure in the manifold (5) at downstream of the suction throttle value (2) is reduced to the predetermined value lower than the atmospheric pressure by pumping action at starting of the engine, and performs fuel injection with the fuel injection valve (7) of the rest of the cylinders.
