PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device which can easily reproduce the desired digest video without editing the video contents. SOLUTION: A reproducing device 100 is provided with a user interface part 101, a digest information control part 107 controlling the digest information, a reproducing part 108, a display part 109 displaying video, and a remote controller 110 selecting the digest information or the like. The user interface part 101 is provided with a reading part 102 reading the recording media 120, a digest information reading part 103 reading the digest information from the recording media 120, a display part 104 displaying the digest information, a selecting part 105 selecting the contents required to reproduce, and a digest information selecting part 106 selecting the digest information which is required to reproduce the digest from the digest information.
