PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph or display various stereoscopic images with a simple optical system. SOLUTION: By projecting the image of an object to a reflection surface having ruggedness and projecting reflected light to an imaging surface, the image of the reflection surface is photographed. The photographed image is projected to be displayed on the reflection surface having the ruggedness formed by reversing the ruggedness of a reflecting plate at photographing. The photographed image by the stereoscopic image photographing apparatus becomes the stereoscopic image which can be displayed also by another display method according to the kind of the reflection surface to be used. With the use of, for example, the reflection surface where many minute convex mirrors are arranged, the stereoscopic image which can be displayed by a display device for integral photography is photographed.
