PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal which requires a lower seal-impressing force and can obtain a uniform and clear seal impression. SOLUTION: This seal is equipped with a rigid body sealing face member 11 having a sealing face 111a with a printing letter to be engraved, a tubular seal main body 12 having an opening part 121 for installing the sealing face member therein at its one end, a sliding strut 13, which is fixed to the other end of the seal main body and, at the same time, supports the sealing face movable towards the axial direction of the seal main body, and an elastic member 14, which is interposed between the seal main body and the sealing face member and energizes the sealing face member to a direction X projecting from the seal main body at least at seal impression.
