PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair with a non-electrical assisting apparatus obtained by attaching a seat position inclination adjusting function, a level difference riding across function, and a self-propelling function to a versatile manual wheelchair. SOLUTION: The wheelchair with the non-electrical assisting apparatus includes: a seat position inclination adjusting mechanism for changing the height of front wheels by a hydraulic cylinder and arbitrarily adjusting the inclination of a seat position; a level difference riding across mechanism for riding across a level difference by means of oscillatory auxiliary casters and by extending/contracting the front wheels with use of the hydraulic cylinder; and a self-propelling mechanism for storing driving energy by a power spring or a constant load spring.
