PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously satisfy a plurality of requirements for a space on a game board such as expansion of the display area of a display device, increase in the number of gates and start holes and expansion of the opening area of a big win hole. SOLUTION: The big win hole 50 comprises two opening/closing doors 50a and 50b and is provided with opening/closing drive devices 51a and 51b driving to open/close the opening/closing doors 50a and 50b. When a game ball passes through a normal pattern display device operation gate and its win/failure determination result is a small win, the opening/closing drive device 51a is driven to open only the opening/closing door 50a for a short period of time and, when the game ball enters in the big win hole 50 then, it is handled that the game ball enters in the start hole. For such winning, a special pattern display device variably displays patterns and, when the win/failure determination is a big win, the opening/closing drive device 51b is driven to simultaneously open/close the both opening/closing doors 50a and 50b and perform a special game.
