Device for the display of a spectacle frame, which mainly consists of a support (3), on this support (3) at least one holder (4) for a spectacle frame (2), which holder (4) is provided with a hook-shaped front part (5) in which the spectacle frame (2) can be hung with its bridge (23), characterised in that the aforementioned hook-shaped part (5) with its opening (11) is directed forwardly and that this opening (11) can be closed by means of a lock (12) which is swingably placed onto the aforementioned support (3) and which is swingable between a closed position, whereby the lock (12) is turned before the opening (11) of the hook-shaped part (5) and an open position whereby the lock (12) is turned away from said opening (11).
