PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave shielding structure is provided to effectively block electromagnetic waves radiated from a wide variety of angles, by permitting a door choke in a door latch portion to have a shape different from shapes of other portions. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding structure comprises a door frame, a rim sealing surface, and a door choke(70). The door frame has a surface where a door latch(66) is arranged. The door frame forms a frame of a door assembly for closing a front surface of a cavity of a microwave oven. The rim sealing surface is stepped at a rim of the door frame so as to block the electromagnetic wave leaked through the rim of the door frame. The door choke is attached to the rim of the door frame, and constituted by a curved surface which is curved by several times, so as to prevent electromagnetic waves from being leaked through the rim of the door assembly. The door choke arranged at the rim of the door frame has a certain part having a shape different from those of the other portions of the door choke.
