<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost using waste paper and improve recordability in ink jet recording paper of a non-coated paper type. <P>SOLUTION: This ink jet recording paper of a non-coated paper type is manufactured using calcium carbonate and waste paper pulp derived from waste paper.
