<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biocompatible material having high safety and a function for suppressing the adsorption and modification of living body components, and a medical article using it. <P>SOLUTION: The biocompatible material is constituted by bonding at least 0.001 wt.% of a polymer (A) including a group represented by the formula (I) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each hydrogen and a group independently selected from 1-4C alkyl groups and m is an integer of 2-4) on at least the surface of a base material mainly comprising polyolefin fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
