<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable immediate reproduction of videos and audios desired by a user without allowing the user to display a menu screen to designate desired videos and audios. <P>SOLUTION: When the user inputs a service ID and a program ID corresponding to desired video data and audio data from a remote controller 45, a CPU 43 acquires a PAT from a transport stream, collates a service ID in the PAT with the inputted service ID, and acquires a PMT corresponding to the service ID from a transport stream if they match. Then, the CPU 43 collates the program ID in the PMT with the inputted program ID, and decoders 28, 29 decodes compressed data of the video data and the audio data corresponding to the service ID and the program ID which match. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
