<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sight line guide for changing the visibility of a light emission unit to cope with the degradation of a surrounding visibility range even when the visibility range is locally degraded. <P>SOLUTION: The light emission unit 2 having a plurality of emission parts 2a, 2b different in emission color is arranged on the side face of a columnar casing 1 erected around a road. A visibility range sensor 3 is stored in the casing 1 at its upper end for monitoring the surrounding visibility range of the light emission unit 2. A control circuit 4 is stored in the casing 1 for controlling the emission amount of each of the emission parts 2a, 2b to increase its visibility corresponding to the visibility range estimated in accordance with the output of the visibility range sensor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
