<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power of a transceiver which induces an electric field in an electric field transmission medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a wearable computer used together with the transceiver 1, a close control section 22 controls an opening/closing switch SW to be closed if the vibration of a living body 3 is detected, an open control section 23 reads a threshold from a data storage section 21 when both a transmission packet and a reception packet are not transmitted and received, and calculates an elapsed time length from the time of generation of the last transmission packet or reception packet. Since the elapsed time length is compared with the read threshold and the opening/closing switch SW is controlled so as to be opened when the elapsed time length is equal to or more than the threshold, the power consumption quantity in a transmission circuit 12 and a reception circuit is reduced, and as this result, the power consumption of the transceiver 1 can be saved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
