<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse radar device and a signal processing method therefor which can provide a high distance resolution using a radar transmission frequency band which is distributed discontinuously. <P>SOLUTION: The step-frequency type pulse radar device emits chirp pulses having different center frequencies for every PRI (pulse repeat interval). As a result, a phase of received echoes is widened which enables a fitting processing using a secondary phase curve. The phases of pulse echoes received by a plurality of PRIs are fitted to a secondary phase curve of the chirp pulses to eliminate ambiguity of the phases.
