PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device that prevents an image from deviating by positively improving the tension of a fixing belt by driving a front and a rear support roller member between which a fixation nip part comprising a load nip part and a dummy nip part is sandwiched with a speed difference and then making large the pressing force of the dummy nip part to an opposite roller member. SOLUTION: The belt fixing device is characterized in that one support roller member and the other support roller member which is disposed upstream from the 1st support roller member in a transfer material conveying direction across parts where 1st and 2nd fixing processes are carried out are driven by independent driving sources.
