PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a fluid bearing in a wide temperature range by solving problems in the fluid bearing wherein the excessive rise of the bearing cannot be prevented at low temperatures when the lengths of radial bearings are made unequal to reduce the size of the fluid bearing so as to appropriate the rise amount of the bearing at high temperatures and circulation holes are provided so as to allow the plurality of radial bearings to communicate with a thrust bearing to prevent the bearings from excessively rising in room temperature and low temperatures. SOLUTION: Bearing clearances in the radial bearings among the plurality of radial bearings are increased more toward a thrust plate. Since pressures at the radial bearing side circulation hole opening parts are lowered, the movement amount of fluid from the thrust bearing to the radial bearings is increased, and accordingly a pressure in the thrust bearing is also decreased.
