PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an internal pressure rise of a piston side oil chamber and prevent damage of a partition member, a valve and the like with a simple construction in a pressure side damping force generation device of a hydraulic damper equipped with a fixed orifice means. SOLUTION: The pressure side damping force generation device 30 of the hydraulic damper 10 is equipped with a check valve 50 on an upper surface of the partition member 40 and with the fixed orifice means 43 between the piston side hydraulic chamber 27B and an oil sump chamber 28. The check valve 50 is formed of a disk valve 51 and a blow valve 52. The partition member 40, the disk valve 51 and the blow valve 52 are respectively provided with positioning means 61-63 for facing through holes 51A of the disk valve 51 and tongue portions 52A of the blow valve 52 to one another. The tongue portions 52A of the blow valve 52 are abutted against an annular groove 42 of the partition member 40. This regulates maximum flexure of the blow valve 52 and makes a notched groove 52B of the blow valve 52 a flow passage of working fluid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
