PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valley finishing structure for a roof, which allows water to smoothly flow on roofing materials toward a valley central side of a valley board, without being dammed by cover bodies, prevents leakage therefrom, and facilitates working of the cover bodies and the valley board and mounting of the cover bodies. SOLUTION: The valley finishing structure for the roof is formed such that the roofing materials 11 are protruded on the valley board 3, and that the cover bodies 12 covering valley board-side edges of the roofing materials 11, respectively, are arranged on the valley board. According to the valley finishing structure, in order to lead water flowing on the roofing materials 11, from gaps 31 between the cover bodies 12 and the valley board 3, toward the valley central side on the valley board 3, the cover bodies 12 are held so as to float upward from an upper surface of the valley board 3.
