PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cornice cutting device which is improved in work easiness and working efficiency. SOLUTION: The cornice cutting device 1 is comprised of right and left bearing portions 3, 2 fixed to right and left edges of an eaves edge A, a thin plate cutter portion 4 for reciprocating between the bearing portions to cut a cornice, an operating portion 5 for reciprocating the cutter portion, and a transmission portion 6 for transmitting power to the operating portion. According to the operation of the cornice cutting device, the cornice is cut by laterally reciprocating the cutter portion according to the operation of the reciprocating portion which is driven by transmission of power from the transmission portion.
