PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing method by which the catching of a specimen substance is controlled and hybridization efficiency is improved and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The method for mixing a liquid sample comprises adding a buffer solution 14 containing a specimen substance to a great number of labeled substances arranged and fixed at fixed intervals on a labeling base 10 and carrying out hybridization by electric induction and has constitution that the labeling base is heated and adjusted to a prescribed temperature, is faced in an arranged state on a low-voltage electrode 22 to a high-voltage electrode 21, the buffer solution is added to a gap between the labeling base and the high-voltage electrode, a bias voltage of positive polarity is impressed to the high-voltage electrode and the specimen substance of positive polarity in the buffer solution is moved to the labeling base.
