ROLLER-ROTATION CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD OF A LAMINATOR FOR QUICKLY CHECKING A NORMAL OPERATION OF THE LAMINATOR BY DETECTING THE POSITION OF A FILM IN THE LAMINATOR

PURPOSE: A roller-rotation control device and a method of a laminator are provided to detect accurately the position of a film by an electronic sensing method and to prevent breakdown of the laminator caused by curling up the film around a roller for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A roller-rotation control device is composed of rollers(35) mounted in an even number to coat a laminating film by applying heat and pressure; an inlet film sensor(10) installed in front of the roller about a progressive direction of the laminating film to check entrance of the film; an outlet film sensor(15) mounted in the rear side of the roller to check withdrawal of the film; a bi-directional rotary motor(20) for rotating forward or reversely the roller according to each signal of the inlet and outlet film sensors; a microprocessor for receiving the signal from the sensors and transmitting a control signal to the bi-directional rotary motor; and a power transmitting unit(25) for delivering power from the motor to the roller.
