<p>Composite sheet comprising a layer of synthetic foam sheet between a layer of stiff cardboard and a layer of felt, or a layer of felt on a sheet of cardboard or between two sheets of cardboard. Esp. for mfr. of file or book covers, advertising plaques or packaging. Claims use of porous polyurethane foams. These may be secured by adhesives or melt or flame lamination. Combines the surface, resilience and porosity of the felt with the resilience of the foam and the basic stiffness and shape of the cardboard to obtain a cover with an attractive feel and good print acceptance.</p> |
