COATING MATERIAL FOR BUILDING, COMPRISING NANO SILVER PARTICLES, AND COATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A coating material for a building and a coating method thereof are provided to apply silver-containing coating material showing fungicidal effects, anti-bacterial action and deodorizing effects onto more extensive areas. CONSTITUTION: The coating material for a building comprises nano silver particles which is prepared by adding silver nitrate, a dispersant and a colloidal stabilizer to distilled water and introducing the distilled water into a reducing agent-added solution. The coating material may further comprise any one or at least one selected from silica colloid, alumina colloid, titanium dioxide colloid and ceramic colloid in order to increase the adhesion strength and the deodorizing function. In the coating material, the dispersant comprises a surfactant in order to inhibit the precipitation of silver particles. Such coating material is applied onto an internal wall, an external wall, a ceiling or a floor of the building via a brush or a spray.
