PURPOSE: A charnel house with a square surrounding stone circle is provided to keep the external appearance of the traditional grave mound and to have the function of charnel simultaneously by using a grave mound and a surrounding stone circle, to lay many people's ashes in a tomb by space utilization and to minimize the cost of materials such as turf, stone, etc. CONSTITUTION: The charnel house with a square surrounding stone circle is completed by surrounding with upper backing stone(11), lower backing stone(12) and plate stone(7) and covering up with turf(3) to have the external appearance of the traditional Korean style grave mound, forming a ventilator composed of a suction port and an exhaust port on the left upper end and the right lower end and installing a stainless mesh(2) as a filter to prevent the inflow of impurities to the charnel house through the ventilator.
