PURPOSE: Provided are an EVA cross-linked foam which has improved air permeability, hygroscopicity and sound-proofing by forming physical pores in macroscopic structure and controlling the shape and size of the pores, and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The EVA foam is manufactured by the method comprising the steps of: mixing and kneading vinylacetate, polyethylene, a cross-linking agent, a forming agent, a pigment, a filler, an additive, and rubbers or resins mixable and kneadable with EVA resins; low melt-spinning the composition into a filament; mixing as a first material, two fibers and staple fibers from the filament, with fusible fibers selected from the group consisting of water-soluble polyvinylalcohol(PVA)-based staple fibers, polyester-based staple fibers and natural fibers as a second material to form a non-woven fabric; and extracting the fusible fibers from the non-woven fabric; and foaming by cross-linking the fusible fibers-extracted non-woven fabric.
