PURPOSE: A device for controlling the use of a cellular phone is provided to detect electromagnetic waves radiated from a cellular phone to measure whether the cellular phone is used, and to output measured results on a display panel or a sound element, thereby effectively inspecting the use of the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(10) comprises a band pass filter for passing a specific frequency band only, while receiving frequencies generated from a cellular phone(H) through an antenna. A data processor(20) comprises an A/D converter for converting an analog value into a digital value through an amplifier which adjusts a log level value of an amplified electromagnetic wave to an analog digital level. A result output unit(30) compares a result value obtained from the data processor(20) with set data to detect whether the cellular phone(H) is used, and displays detected results through a display panel.
