PURPOSE: An installation tube for enclosing an optical fiber is provided, which is designed by reducing a friction using a greasy component applied on a surface thereof. CONSTITUTION: A tube for enclosing an optical fiber unit having a greasy surface is implemented in communication lines and includes an inner layer(101) and an outer layer(100). The inner layer has a greasy component to reduce a friction against the optical fiber unit. The outer layer is implemented on an outer surface of the inner layer and is made of a high molecular polymer having a friction coefficient lower than that of a polyethylene. The tube further includes a reinforcement layer(102) which is applied between the inner and outer layers and increases a strength of the tube.
