PROCESS FOR PRODUCING RECYCLED RESIN USING USED GMT AS MATERIAL OF BACK BEAM USED IN CAR TO ABSORB IMPACT

PURPOSE: Provided is process for producing recycled resin having renewed physical property using GMT (Glass Mat Thermoplastics) as raw material of back beam in cars for absorbing impact and comprising other additives for the renewed property by compounding technique. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises steps of washing out contaminant of used GMT with high-pressure water possible to control temperature then drying the washed material for constant time; breaking dried GMT by processing machine, adding polymer compatible with the GMT base raw material then mixing together in a mixer; introducing the mixed resin into an extruder and melting and admixing the resin in the extruder; and extruding the prepared material and cutting into pellets.
