<p>The extruder screw is arranged in the annular space between the cylinder shell and the central plug. This screw is driven by two planetary gears in order to balance radial forces. The plastic material is fed into annular storage groove in the shell and plug arrangement. This method reduces the length of the extruder and increases its capacity.</p> |
