A wall or building facade cladding panel has a layer of hard foam in which ceramic tiles, stones or similar are embedded or bonded. The seams between adjacent tiles are accessible. The rear face of the panel esp. has an array of vertical and horizontal grooves that serve to equalise water vapour pressure and relieve stress caused by minor misalignment between adjacent interlocking panels. The grooves are 3 mm wide and 10 mm deep.
