VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT ROTARY COMPRESSOR WITH RESTRAINING UNIT

PURPOSE: A variable displacement rotary compressor is provided to restrain eccentric bushes by a restraining unit protruded outside an eccentric part by centrifugal force caused by the rotation of a rotation shaft during compression stroke, thereby preventing the slippage of the eccentric bushes. CONSTITUTION: A variable displacement rotary compressor includes a restraining unit. The restraining unit includes a restraining element mounted at opposite side of a holding pin(81) of a holding unit(80) to protrude toward an outside of an eccentric part(44) by the centrifugal force caused the rotation of a rotation shaft(21) and reciprocating in the radial direction of the rotation shaft. A supporting pin(92) guides the reciprocating of the restraining element and limits the reciprocating range thereof. A restoring spring(93) presses the restraining element toward the center of the rotation shaft when the rotation shaft is not in rotation. The restraining element restrains a holding part(82b) of a holding groove(82) at the opposite side of the holding pin, thereby restraining eccentric bushes(42,52) of the eccentric part. When the rotation shaft is not in rotation, the restraining state of the eccentric bushes is released by the restoring spring.
