METHOD AND DATA STRUCTURE FOR RANDOM ACCESS THROUGH I¬2C BUS CONNECTION

PURPOSE: A method and a data structure for random access through an I¬2C(Inter-Integrated Circuit) bus connection are provided to effectively address a cell at the inside of a slave device allowing the true random access. CONSTITUTION: A master transmits a data mode signal after addressing the slave. The data mode signal includes a number of a cell address byte, information for the number of data byte to be transmitted, and an address cell signal. The master transmits data to the slave and/or receives the data from the slave depending on the data mode signal.
