PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to enhance a heat emitting efficiency of a lamp and to prevent the lifetime reduction of the lamp. CONSTITUTION: A lamp housing(112) receives plural lamps(121). A heat sink(130) absorbs the heat of the lamp housing. The heat sink is made of metal having a superior thermal conductivity. A bottom cover(150) is mounted to a bottom surface of the heat sink. A fan(140) is mounted to a side of the bottom cover and emits the heat of the heat sink. A diffusion plate(110) diffuses the light irradiated from the lamp. At least an optical sheet(108) is stacked on the diffusion plate. By the optical sheet, the efficiency of the light emitted from the diffusion plate is enhanced.
