LCD ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF FOR PERFORMING AN IPT TEST WITHOUT AN ADDITIONAL PROCESS

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to perform a deposition process by using a CVD(Chemical Vapor Deposition) equipment without forming an insulating film on a test pad, thereby performing an IPT(In Processing Test) test without an additional process. CONSTITUTION: A gate electrode(562) is formed on a substrate(500). A gate insulating layer(564) is deposited on the substrate including the gate electrode. An active layer(566) is formed on an upper portion of the gate insulating layer. An ohmic contact layer(568) is formed on an upper portion of the active layer. A data line is formed on an upper portion of the ohmic contact layer. Source and drain electrodes are extended from the data line. A pixel electrode(576) is electrically connected with the drain electrode and is formed with a transparent conductive material. A passivation layer(579) is formed on an upper portion of the pixel electrode. An IPT test pad(590) is formed on the edge of the substrate without the passivation layer.
