<p>The invention relates to a grout which consists of (i) cement, (ii) a compound selected from the group consisting of fly ash, pozzolan, ground granulated blast furnace slag and mixtures thereof, (iii) a retarder, and (iv) brine or water saturated with sodium chloride. The retarder may be a lignosulphonate or a gluconate retarder. Preferably the grout contains per cubic meter 20 to about 500kg of cement, 500 to about 1000kg of component (ii), 1 to about 5 litres of retarder and 300 to about 500 litres of brine. The rheological properties of the grout remain unchanged when in contact with salty water.</p> |
