PURPOSE: A small electronic magnifier is provided to confirm a magnified image through a monitor when a user wants to magnify the image to observe it. CONSTITUTION: A small electronic magnifier includes a camera unit(10), a circuit board unit(30), a monitor(20), and an input/output controller(70). The camera unit includes a magnification lens(12) for magnifying an image formed by a camera lens, and a camera image sensor(14) for converting the image into a video signal. The circuit board includes an image controller(34) for controlling the video signal transmitted from the camera, an image processor(40) for processing an image input from the camera unit, a storage unit(42) for storing video data output from the image processor, a monitor controller(46) for controlling an operation of outputting a video signal that has passed through the image processor to the monitor, a central processing unit(44) for carrying out control operations of controlling digital magnification of the video signal and storing the video data, and a power supply(54) for supplying power for processing the video signal. The monitor displays the image captured by the camera unit. The input/output controller adjusts the displayed image or controls magnification.
