PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an acetate tow filter and an apparatus for removing an acetate tow filter wrap are provided to enhance a ventilation efficiency when inhaling. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the acetate tow filter comprises the steps of: winding an acetate tow having a curing agent sprayed thereon with a wrap to form the acetate tow filter; and then removing the wrap after curing the tow. The apparatus for removing the wrap comprises a hopper(20) supplying the acetate tow filter; and a first and a second cylindrical heating parts(31,32) with a heater formed for heating the acetate filter supplied from the hopper.
