Footwear that has a generator that generates electricity from the walking action of the wearer, the electricity is then converted into heat. Preferably the generator is located in the heel of the footwear. The heel may be divided into two layers, a magnet 6 is attached to the uppermost layer of the heel 3 and a coil of copper 5 is attached to the lowermost layer 4. The compression of the two layers as the heel hits the ground causes the relative movement of the coil and magnet towards each other and vice versa then the heel is raised from the ground thereby generating electricity. The electricity is delivered to high resistance wires 7 in the rest of the shoe that produces heat. |
