PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent device is provided to improve the luminous efficiency as well as to lengthen the operation life of the device and to enhance the stability of the device. CONSTITUTION: The organic electroluminescent device includes organic thin film layers disposed between a first electrode(anode) and a second electrode(cathode), wherein at least one layer of the organic thin film layers comprises at least one compound represented by the formula 1, in which each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is independently a linear or branched C1-C10 alkyl, a C1-C10 alkoxy, a halogen, a substituted or non-substituted C5-C18 aromatic group, a C5-C18 cycloalkyl or a 5- to 18-membered aromatic heterocyclic group, A is a linear or branched C1-C18 alkyl, a substituted or non-substituted C5-C18 aromatic group, a C5-C18 cycloalkyl or a 5- to 18-membered aromatic heterocyclic group, Ar is a substituted or non-substituted C5-C18 cycloaromatic group or a 5- to 18-membered aromatic heterocyclic group.
