The present invention relates to stabilizing compositions for chlorine containing polymers and resins, which are free from metals, and which contained at least one or more hvdrazide compounds of formula <CHEM> and at least one co-stabiliser. <??>These compositions are particularly useful for the stabilization of PVC resins; the stabilized compositions can be advantageously used for manufacturing of pipes or fittings, compact or foamed sheets, films (rigid or flexible), profiles.
