WATER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR A WASHING MACHINE COMPOSED OF A WATER SUPPLY NOZZLE, A LOW-SPEED SYNCHRONIZED MOTOR, AND AN ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: A water supply device for a washing machine is provided to reduce waste of water and to shorten the laundry-rinsing time by injecting equally the water in repeated up-and-down motions of a water supply nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A water supply device(50) for a washing machine comprises a water supply nozzle(10) combined by hinges(1,2) formed at both sides to rotate vertically from an upper part of a water storage tub and composed of a water supply pipe(5) disposed in the rear side to feed the water from the outside and a slot(6) formed horizontally on the front side to jet the water; a low-speed synchronized motor(20) operated intermittently by power applied from a control unit, wherein an eccentric cam(12) is attached at the front end of a rotary shaft(11); and an actuator(15) projected horizontally from the lateral side of the water supply nozzle and contacted with the front end of the eccentric cam of the low-speed synchronized motor.
