TFT DISPLAY PANEL HAVING AN ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE PROTECTION CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) display panel is provided to have an electrostatic discharge protection circuit capable of protecting devices of the display panel from the electrostatic discharge. CONSTITUTION: Plural gate lines(G1-Gn) and data lines(D1-Dm) are furnished in a display region(A). A TFT(Q) is connected to the gate and data lines. Plural pixel electrodes are connected to the TFT. Plural sustain electrode lines(S1-SI) are superposed with the pixel electrodes. A peripheral region(B) is positioned at the outside of the display region. A check pad(126p) for checking the gate line or the data line is electrically connected to the gate line or the data line. An electrostatic discharge protection circuit(40) is arranged on an edge in comparison with the check pad and includes plural transistors(Q1-Q3).
