<p>1300207 Arrangements of handles remote from latches DAIMLER-BENZ AG 19 April 1971 [26 March 1970] 24887/71 Heading E2A A fastening comprises a latch in a part 2 on a door and an actuating handle 4 pivotally mounted on a base plate 5 on the door and connected by a link 7 to a two armed lever 8 also pivotally mounted on the base plate, the two armed lever being connected by rods 10, 11 to a further two armed lever 9 pivoted on the part 2 and connected by an arm 2a to the latch. The pivot of the lever 8 is longitudinally adjustable to accommodate pairs of rods of various lengths. The material of the base plate is stiffer than that of the door panel to which it is attached.</p> |
