A process for stabilizing organosilicon compounds bearing unsaturated groups during their preparation, distillation, and/or storage, the organosilicon compounds bearing unsaturated groups having been obtained by reacting a haloalkylsilane with a salt of an unsaturated organic acid, by adding one or more compounds of the formula Iwherein R<1 >and R<2 >are identical or different linear or branched C1-20 alkyl, and the radicals R<3 >are identical or different and are hydrogen or linear or branched alkyl radicals having 1-20 carbon atoms.
