PURPOSE: Functional towel is characterized by having excellent hygroscopicity and soft touch, being light and washable, being capable of being dried rapidly and not staining. A manufacturing method thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: A functional towel is obtained by the steps of: preparing ground warp comprised of 100% of 23's/2 cotton yarn; preparing pile yarn comprised of 50-70wt.% of polyester of 300denier and 30-50wt.% of 20's cotton yarn, combed yarn; preparing weft, 20's single yarn mixed 50-70wt.% of bamboo fiber and 30-50wt.% of cotton fiber; weaving fabric out of the ground warp, the pile yarn and the weft to manufacture a towel; and then heating the towel at 100-110deg.C for 2-3min. with a heater. |
