СПОСОБ ОПРЕДЕЛЕНИЯ СОДЕРЖАНИЯ В НИТРАТАХ ЦЕЛЛЮЛОЗ

FIELD: analytical methods. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises grinding cellulose nitrates, determining optical density, and calculating content of nitrogen according to preliminarily plotted calibration graph. Invention is characterized by that cellulose nitrate is mixed with potassium bromide at ratio 1:3, after which mixture is compacted in presence of acetone at simultaneous evacuation of mold. Thus prepared tablets are subjected to photometry to measure optical density of two absorption bands at frequencies upsilon =1280 and 1060 cm-1, whereupon following ratio is calculated: K=Dupsilon=1280/Dupsilon=1060. ^ EFFECT: simplified determination procedure due to eliminated precise sampling operation and excluded necessity in toxic reagents such as tetrahydrofuran and mercury. ^ 2 tbl
