FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in machines for collapsing of stalked fodder round bales before dispensing of feed to animals. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has pressure mechanism and combing mechanism. Pressure mechanism has two cylindrical grips faced to one another with their concave sides. Lower end of one grip is mounted in immovable cylindrical support. Other grip is hung by means of supports to crankshafts. Acute angled catches are formed on inner sides of grips. Angles of catches on one grip are directed downward and angles of catches on other grip are directed upward. Grips with catches provide rotation of round bales without sliding thereof and, accordingly, allow continuous removal of compressed layer of feed from round bale. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
