INNER SHIELD FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE WITH IMPROVED DEGREE OF VACUUM BY FULLY DEPOSITING GETTER IN CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An inner shield is provided to achieve improved degree of vacuum of a cathode ray tube by fully depositing a getter spattered during air evacuation process, in the cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a panel(10) having an inner surface on which a phosphor screen is formed; a funnel(20) mounted on a rear surface of the panel; an electron gun(30) arranged in a neck portion of the funnel; a deflection yoke arranged in the neck portion so as to deflect electron beams emitted from the electron gun; a shadow mask(50); an inner shield(70); and a getter assembly(90) for removing residual gas and generated gas from the cathode ray tube. The shadow mask hole has electron beam passing holes of slot or grille type. The inner shield has a surface opposed to the getter assembly, wherein the surface has one or more passing holes for passage of the getter material spattered from the getter assembly.
