FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely laser welding of precision parts, mainly axially symmetrical cylindrical articles, possibly in machine engineering and instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of separating laser beam by two similar intensity beams with common focal plane in final portion of path; defining path for beam propagation; placing optical beams in final portion of path in the same plane as symmetry axis of article and orienting them in said plane by inclination angle alpha to line normal relative to common focal plane and determined by expression (-50epsilon )<= alpha <=(+50epsilon ); setting distance L between optical axes in common focal pane according to relation L = D, where D - nominal size of parts; performing focusing; controlling coincidence of irradiated surface; realizing welding process after preliminarily tack welding simultaneously by means of two beams according to cross like pattern; turning article around rotation axis by angle approximately equal to 45° from center of tack welding and welding by means of two beams at least in two diametrically opposite portions of butt; rotating unit by 90° around rotation center from center of tack welding; welding simultaneously by means of two beams along butt at rotating article in angle range 0 - 180°. ^ EFFECT: lowered deformation of precision axially symmetrical welded articles. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
