FIELD: gold production from placer deposits by dragging method. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises frame with upper and lower scooping drums put on axis and shaft of scoop chain assembly drive provided with buckets connected thereto. The scoop chain assembly includes two parallel chains having parallel links connected one to another by covering piece. The covering piece is made of two metal sheets located one above another and connected one with another by channel bars and ribs. One metal sheet is fastened to chain links. Bucket is connected to another metal sheet. The buckets are connected to each second covering piece. ^ EFFECT: possibility to use standard chains, simplified chain-bucket dredge structure, increased maintainability and reduced costs of dredge production and repair. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
